It can be so hard to prioritize sometimes. Between balancing my work, my husband, family, spiritual life and friends life can get pretty busy. Wait until I have kids! With all the balancing you have to do, it is important to take time for yourself. You cannot please everyone and I know it’s hard but paying attention to self-health, body, and happiness can give you a boost of confidence and energy to take on things that may stress you out.
I am still working on creating a better balance for myself. Making myself a priority is IMPORTANT. Spending time by yourself is what I strive to do all the time. Whether it is 5 minutes, 10 minutes an hour or weekly it is something I highly recommend. Some of the things I like to do by myself is; sit and drink tea, watch a tv show, go shopping, read a book, give myself a facial. These are just a few ways that I like to spend time alone. ENJOYING MYSELF. Other things people do are go for a swim, take a jog, take a weekly yoga class, go to the movies, weekly pedicures. Whatever you do the important thing is to find time for yourselves, prioritize yourself!
