Getting dressed can be a very long and indecisive process for me, especially now that I am pregnant. Lately, I try to find outfits that feel comfortable and look fashionable at the same time. I am also working with the items in the closet as long as I can without purchasing maternity clothes. Don’t get me wrong there are some important maternity items that are essential such as a bra or a pair of jeans but I also don’t want to buy several items that won’t fit me after the pregnancy or clothes I will not wear.
I have found that jumpers and rompers have been pretty easy to style and easy to stretch over the bump! This adorable skirt jumper was purchased years ago at Urban Outfitters. I find that Zara, Madewell, and Urban Outfitters have a great selection of unique and trendy jumpers/rompers.
Other clothes that have been both comfortable and fashionable are:
1. leggings- leggings have become my best friend. I mean I loved leggings before I was pregnant but now they are my go-to pants. I wear it under dresses or long sweaters with boots. I bought the Spanx leather leggings which have added a real edgy look. Did I mention that they are super comfortable and worth every penny!
2. Flowy Smock dresses or top– these dresses move perfectly over the bump and it’s cute!
3. Oversized sweater- the bigger the better! When you are pregnant all you want to feel is comfortable and cozy! Not only are oversized sweaters comfortable but stylish as well!
4. Bodycon dresses- It hugs the body perfectly and makes your baby bump look so cute! Midi- styles are my favorite and since being pregnant it has come quite handy.
