Because I am a skincare junkie, I did tons of research on products that will prevent or decrease the appearance of stretch marks. I also wanted skincare items that are natural and not full of chemicals.
My skin can be very sensitive at times. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I broke out in hives on random parts of my body. The doctor prescribed me a cream to prevent the scratching but it did not help with moisturizing my skin. The products that I mention are both natural and safe for the baby as well as leaves the skin smooth and soft.
Not only do they sell the cutest and most stylish clothes for moms-to-be; they also have amazing skincare products as well! They sell an all natural belly mask that has aloe vera in it to reduce inflammation of scar tissue left after pregnancy. They sell individual packs or a set of the mask. If you love face mask I highly recommend belly mask!
Green and Lovely belly oil:
I have to admit I heard about this belly oil from this company before I was even pregnant and saved it in the notes of my phone. I use this DAILY! It has all natural ingredients including olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil etc. It is pretty pricey but worth every penny. Also a little goes a long way.
Spectrum Organic Coconut oil:
I purchased this oil at Target in the cooking aisle. I literally use coconut oil everywhere! On my face, belly and sometimes I mix it with my moisturizer/lotions. Coconut oil is the simplest and cheapest way to help with stretch marks.
Loccitane pure Shea butter:
When I want a little extra moisture at night I put this on. It is pretty heavy and can last all day or all night long. I also use the Shea butter to help fade away the dark spots that were left from the hive or rash I received earlier in my pregnancy. What I love about the Loccitane shea butter is the texture. It is extremely smooth and easy to scoop out of the jar (unlike other Shea kinds of butter). During my pregnancy, I have experience itchiness on my breast and stomach. This really helps with that as well!
